Somerville Climate Action gathered volunteers at 100 Gilman St. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, for a “DePave The Way” event to “remove our neighbors’ asphalt and increase Somerville’s green space.” The group used pickaxes and pry bars to dig up the asphalt from the yard and load it into a dumpster for removal.
