Check it out: Paper Rad

















The Providence collective Paper Rad, who specialize in rainbow-powered Lucky Charms (pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, blue diamonds…) psychedelia, showed two new digital “caretoons” at New York’s New Museum on Friday night: the 20-minute "Problem Solvers" (2008) and the 3-minute "crank dat spongebob batman dropdead robocop" (2008). Brookline photographer Abelardo Morell has retrospectivey exhibitions up at Amherst College’s Mead Art Museum through Jan. 20 and the University of New England’s Art Gallery in Portland, Maine, through Jan. 27.
