Niki De Saint Phalle At Atlanta Botanical Garden

Forty sculptures by French-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle are featured in “Niki in the Garden” at the Atlanta Botanical Garden from May 9 to Sept. 6, 2026. A revival of a 2006 sculpture exhibit there, the sculptures — most on loan from the Niki Charitable Art Foundation and private collections — are being presented throughout the garden as well as indoors. De Saint Phalle (1930–2002) “became famous for her massive, colorful and playful sculptures addressing feminism, mythology, politics and personal trauma. … [She] was best known for her massive, playful sculptures, particularly her ‘Nanas’ – voluptuous works of women that celebrate femininity—as well as colorful animals, mythical figures, totems and even sports heroes,” according to the garden.
