“Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans, Boston 2020,” from PangeaSeed Foundation in collaboration with HarborArts at the Boston Harbor Shipyard in East Boston, aims to bring “the ocean into the streets, educating and inspiring individuals and communities through ARTivism.” In September, local artists Silvia Lopez Chavez, Sneha “Imagine” Shrestha, Julz Roth and Cedric “Vise 1” Douglas, and Josie Morway painted murals at the shipyard about climate change, sea level rise, pollution, and how these problems particularly hurt communities of color.
