Tuesday, June 21
11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Make Music Boston, more than 60 free outdoor musical events across the city.
7 p.m. Lizard Lounge at 1667 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, holds a party to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
7 p.m. “The State Of Live Music In Boston” discussion series continues with a forum on “venue and artist relationships” at iZotope, 60 Hampshire St., Cambridge.

Wednesday, June 22
6:30 p.m. Boston Lgbtqia Artist Alliance hosts a solidarity gathering “to share each other’s company and reflect in the aftermath of last weekend’s events in Orlando.” In Jamaica Plain, Boston.
9 p.m. What Cheer? Brigade, Mal Devia and Malportado Kids perform their music at AS220, 115 Empire St, Providence.

Thursday, June 23
Noon. “End Solitary Confinement” public action organized by Coalition for Effective Public Safety. Begins at main entrance of Boston’s South Station, at the intersection of Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue. “We’ll be chalking at South Station, through Dewey Square towards Downtown Crossing & Park T stops solitary confinement facts to raise awareness about solitary confinement.”
Noon. “Wage Theft Worker Speak Out” organized by Community Labor United at the Massachusetts State House in Boston. Workers “share their stories about how the wage theft epidemic has impacted our lives.”
5 p.m. to 11 p.m. the next day. Bert Crenca’s 30 Hour Doodling Maraton at As220 Black Box, 95 Empire St., Providence.

Friday, June 24
4:45 p.m. Gloucester’s 89th annual St. Peter’s Fiesta (pictured at top) opens with the greasy pole contest, followed by a parade and opening ceremonies. The Italian Catholic fishing festival continues with a carnival and sporting events on Saturday and Sunday, plus a parade at noon Sunday.
5 to 10 p.m. Ocean State BBQ Festival at the Steel Yard, 27 Sims Ave., Providence. Again on June 25 from noon to 10 p.m.
7 to 11 p.m. City Dance Party with DJ music in front of Cambridge City Hall at 796 Massachusetts Ave. Free.
7 p.m. Commedia dell’Arte performed in the newly renovated Italian Garden at the Crane Estate, 290 Argilla Road, Ipswich. Repeats at 7 p.m. June 25.

10 a.m. Sea Creature Parade in Wickford (part of North Kingston), Rhode Island. Begins at the town dock on Main Street to Brown Street, over Hussey Bridge, to Beach Street. Ends at the town beach where the New England Quahog Festival will begin.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Melrose Urban Farms Tour.
11 to 6 p.m. Pokemon Picnic at Boston Common, hosted by the New England Cosplay Community.
