The Friends of Fellsmere Heights held a lantern walk around Malden’s Fellsmere Pond last night to celebrate and promote their efforts “to give new expression to that legacy” of the former Malden Hospital “through the use, if possible, of a portion of the 18-acre site and perhaps the hospital building itself for a wide range of much needed community services,” including a public park, housing, and businesses.
