In the upcoming Netflix movie “Fatherhood,” Kevin Hart plays a widowed father in Boston coping “with doubts, fears, heartache and dirty diapers as he sets out to raise his daughter on his own.” It’s scheduled to debut on June 18.

Partially filmed in Boston back in August 2019, the trailer shows the Boston skyline, the Swan Boats at Boston’s Public Garden, the Tea Party Ship in Fort Point Channel near the Boston Children’s Museum, and Brewer Fountain in Boston Common and the State House.
“Fatherhood” is directed by Paul Weitz based on blogger Matthew Logelin’s 2011 book “Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love.” It’s produced by Higher Ground Productions, the entertainment company launched by former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama.
