“Keep abortion safe and legal” people chanted at a “Stop The Abortion Ban” rally at the Massachusetts State House in Boston at noon today. Hundreds of women and some men attended to protest restrictions passed in recent months by the states of Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and Ohio. The Boston protest and a rally in Somerville’s Davis Square were among dozens of rallies planned across the nation “to speak out and fight back against this unconstitutional attempt to gut Roe and punish women. Together we say: Stop the bans,” according to organizers. “Protect Roe!” the crowd chanted. “We vote!” “My body, my choice!” “Power to the pussy!” “Pro family, pro choice!” “Keep women safe!”
