Somerville kicked off Pride month with its second annual Big Gay Dance Party. The celebration this evening in Union Square, featured drag performances by Just JP and Sham Payne and music by DJ Dee Diggs. The event was organized by Somerville Arts Council (with which I frequently organize festivals myself).
