As many as 200 people participated in a “Love Trumps Hate” rally on Boston Common this afternoon. Gathering near Park Street, the crowd chanted:
“We reject the president elect.”
“Love trumps hate.”
“Say it loud, say it clear, refugees are welcome here.”
“Love not hate makes America great.”
“We love our neighbors.”
“Trump can’t build a wall his hands are too small.”
“Cabinet of racists, we say no.”
“Not my president.”
“No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA.”
“Muslim rights are human rights.”
“Her body, her choice. My body, my choice.”
“Around Pence build a fence.”
“No racists in the White House.”
“Hey, hey, ho, ho, white supremacy has to go.”
“Pussy grabs back.”
“T-R-U-M-P: How do you spell racist?”
