(Pictured above: Last year&#8217;s parade.)<\/p>\n<p>And join us the week before for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/252136975356209\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free parade craft workshop<\/a> from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Arlington\u2019s Samuel Whittemore Park at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Mystic Street\u2014during <a href=\"https:\/\/arlingtonporchfest.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arlington\u2019s Porchfest<\/a>. During the drop-in activity, we\u2019ll be making make banners and other stuff for the following week\u2019s Fox Festival Parade.<\/p>\n<p>Then walk with us in the June 16 parade, which departs at noon from the Fox Library at 175 Massachusetts Ave. We\u2019ll have masks and giant puppets and banners for you to use\u2014or bring your own. The parade will be led by the Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band and also feature giant puppets from Sara Peattie\u2019s Puppeteers Cooperative in Boston.
