\u201cLes B\u00eates dansent ou le sortil\u00e8ge discret de la nature sauvage\u201d (\u201cThe Dancing Beasts or the Discreet Spell of the Wild\u201d)<\/strong> by La Liga Teatro Elastico from Mexico City<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ancient dance of the predator and the prey that allows life to flourish on the planet,\u201d is how the troupe describes the outdoor pageant. Puppeteer Daniel Loyola says, \u201cThe hunt is the death of the deer, which is necessary for the life because it permits the life of the planet.\u201d Check out our full report<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n“The Daisy Theater\u201d is a semi-improvised, cabaret-style marionette comedy show. Puppets, the Toronto performer says says, have allowed him to take on numerous roles. \u201cI\u2019ve been playing with gender all my life and I don\u2019t have to put on false eyelashes, take hormones. \u2026 I\u2019ve had the freedom of being young, old, male, female, animal, human.\u201d Check out our full report<\/a>.<\/p>\n
