Keep in mind that it\u2019s a tradition that\u2019s endangered\u2014over the past half century the <a href=\"http:\/\/theplate.nationalgeographic.com\/2015\/12\/02\/global-warming-pushes-maple-trees-syrup-to-the-brink\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sugar in maple sap has declined by half<\/a>, which scientists believe may be caused by global warming stressing the trees.
