“Summer Solace,” a showcase of ballet and modern works presented by Boston’s Janelle Gilchrist Dance Troupe<\/a> at Cambridge’s Foundry on July 11 and 12, 2026, aims to be “a performance rooted in the feeling of solace, a special kind of comfort found during times of fear and uncertainty.” Boston orchestra Horizon Ensemble accompanies the dance troupe<\/a>‘s main company, in “Fantasy on Shadow,” composed by Shira Laucharoen of Boston. Chrystyn Fentroy,<\/a> a former Boston Ballet Principal Dancer who is joining the Royal Swedish Ballet as a principal dancer for their 2026-2027 season, closes the showcase with a dance choreographed by Gilchrist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
