In the wake of Trump winning the presidential election, writers on Cape Ann gathered for “Writers Resist: Don’t Tread On Us,”<\/a> readings “to reaffirm their commitment to the First Amendment and the freedoms of Democracy.” It was held at the Rocky Neck Art Center, Gloucester, on Jan. 15, 2016.<\/p>\n
