This fall marks the 10th anniversary of the Somerville Toy Camera Festival<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a \u201ctoy camera\u201d? The 89 photos featured in three exhibitions across Somerville are made with simple (often plastic) cameras with little (if any) controls or automation. Some are pinhole cameras\u2014a container with a film inside and a tiny hole poked in the side to let light, and the world, in. It\u2019s photography at its most beautifully basic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
