Honk<\/a>, the annual festival of activist street bands, arrives in Somerville and Cambridge this weekend.<\/p>\n

Begun here in 2006, the festival has spawned a worldwide movement. Due to covid, last year and this year, the lineup of bands sticks mostly to those hailing from the Northeast, plus this year Banda Rim Bam Bum from Santiago, Chile, and New Orleans’ Young Fellaz Brass Band.<\/p>\n
