“A Night of Prayer for Racial Justice”<\/a> gathered about 80 people outside Malden High School last night.<\/p>\n

Organizers said on Facebook that it would be “a night of prayer, worship, and encouragement as we seek justice and unity. We are all grieving the recent murders of unarmed black adults and children across America. Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery are only a few names who fell victim to the sin of racism and violence. It is imperative that we come together to approach God’s throne humbly yet boldly seeking justice and healing.”<\/p>\n

At the event, speakers urged participants to:
\n\u2022 “Get know your neighbors. Jesus was a friend to all.”
\n\u2022 Police “get to know the people you’re serving.”
\n\u2022 Support Black businesses.
\n\u2022 “Educate yourself” about racial inequality.
\n\u2022 “Call out racism by any means necessary.”<\/p>\n
