Partners With Harvard Science Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>How can theater return as long as coronavirus threatens group gatherings? <\/p>\n<p>Cambridge\u2019s American Repertory Theater and the Healthy Buildings Program at Harvard\u2019s T.H. Chan School of Public Health have announced plans to develop a <a href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/american-rep-assets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/27085300\/A.R.T.-Healthy-Buildings-Roadmap-Annoucement-FINAL-u.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cRoadmap to Recovery and Resilience for Theater,\u201d<\/a> based on their scientific study in which they aim to \u201cdevelop principles and general guidance that address the particular challenges the theater faces as a result of the pandemic.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe question of how the theater can safely come back is our field\u2019s most pressing challenge,\u201d A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus said in a prepared statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an all-in moment for the world, and the arts have a critical role to play in our recovery,\u201d Joseph Allen, assistant professor of exposure assessment science at Harvard\u2019s Chan School and director of the Healthy Buildings program, said in a prepared statement. \u201cI share Diane\u2019s passion and sense of responsibility to leverage two of Harvard\u2019s strengths\u2014arts and health science\u2014to provide a path forward for theater.
