Center for Maine Contemporary Art is \u201cclosed temporarily for repairs following a break in the water main that occurred inside the building in the early morning hours on Saturday, Jan. 19,\u201d the Rockland nonprofit reported in an email today.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe flooding was reported to the Rockland Fire Department shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday when a passerby noticed water pouring out from under a door on the lower Winter Street side of the arts center,\u201d the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n The center writes: \u201cWe are pleased to report that no works of art were damaged in the event. All artwork on display has been moved to the Starfire climate-controlled art storage facility in Rockland. \u2026.
