Vanessa Platacis, who you may recall as “PIXNIT,” is back in town this weekend painting a mural on the 7-Eleven in Cambridge’s Central Square. She expects to be working on the stenciled painting through about midday Sunday. It’s the beginning of a project led by Geoff Hargadon, Gary Strack, Cambridge Arts and the Central Square Business Association to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Central Square Graffiti Wall by creating a series of new murals around Central Square.
