“We are pleased to have reached a resolution where the [Citgo] sign will remain in place for decades to come and are grateful for the Mayor’s leadership,” says Kimberly Sherman Stamler, president of the development firm Related Beal, which last year bought nine buildings in Boston’s Kenmore Square, including the six-story building atop which the iconic Citgo sign stands, from Boston University. The announcement came in a press release from the City of Boston.
