Tens of thousands of people took part in the Boston Women’s March of America this morning in protest of the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidency yesterday. The event began with speeches, music and dance at Boston Common, then marched around the Public Garden. Organizers said it was one of more than 400 women’s marches around the world today: “In peace. Without partisanship. We march for equality, dignity and justice.”

I’ve also posted a portfolio of great signs from the march at this link.

And if you’re looking for ways to stay involved, each week I put together a calendar of Boston area protests, discussions and other events that aim to improve the world. At that link, you can also sign up to receive updates by email.
