In the wake of Trump winning the presidential election, writers on Cape Ann gathered for “Writers Resist: Don’t Tread On Us,” readings “to reaffirm their commitment to the First Amendment and the freedoms of Democracy.” It was held at the Rocky Neck Art Center, Gloucester, on Jan. 15, 2016.
