Last month, we noted that Boston’s ICA had emptied its Mediatheque of nearly all its computers as it rethought how best to use the space. In conjunction with its upcoming exhibit “The Record: Contemporary Art and Vinyl” (April 15-September 5), the ICA says it will install 10 listening stations in the Mediatheque: “Ten artists and musicians were commissioned to create a new visual narrative based on the cover art of 20 albums of their choosing. Each artist’s theme and ’story’ can be discovered by thumbing through bins containing original albums, examining the covers and playing the records.”
